Walk-In Hyperbaric Chamber: What to Check Before Buying

뉴스 기사 1330

Looking at the product map of a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, wide doors, upright chambers and seats can easily make 3 continuous judgments: they can walk in directly, can enter wheelchairs, and can accommodate many people at the same time. The first judgment may hold, but the latter two cannot be inferred from it. The walk-in in hyperbaric chamber first describes the way of entry, not the general term for capacity, barrier-free capacity or medical transport capacity.

The most useful way before buying is not to see if the door is open enough, but to split the "entry" into a complete path: how the equipment enters the room, how the user crosses the threshold, whether he can turn around and take a seat after entering, and how to evacuate when abnormal.

First, distinguish between the inlet, posture, and capacity

Walk-in and upright are not the same concept. The Vertical describes the vertical layout of the cabin or the posture of use; the walk-in describes that the personnel can enter through the door. The cabin allows standing and walking in, which does not mean that the user will stand during operation, nor does it mean that there must be multiple seats inside.

The capacity also needs to be confirmed separately. The single cabin can accommodate 1 users at a time, while the multi-person cabin can accommodate multiple cabin personnel, but the rated number of patients, accompanying personnel and staff must be distinguished. When you see the seat 4, you cannot directly write it as "four people"; The nominal number of people, internal layout, oxygen supply interface and emergency evacuation arrangement should be checked together.

The HE5000 Mono in the Baobang product catalog is a clear example: it is a single-person walk-in hardware cabin with a transparent walk-in door. The HE5000 Fort uses a face-to-face multi-person seat layout. The HE5000 provides a two-seat, 3-seat, bed board and bench layout. The HE5000 Plus can accommodate four people. These names and configuration descriptions—walk-in entrance and multi-person capacity—should be read separately and cannot be used interchangeably.

The entrance can pass people, but also can complete the whole action

The net width, net height, threshold height, door opening direction and space required for the door leaf should be obtained at the time of inquiry. The external dimensions only indicate how much space the cabin occupies; they do not determine whether a user can enter it comfortably. Seat or vertical structures also check seat width, legroom, headroom, armrests and adjustment range.

If the user is unable to move, the problem will be more specific: whether there is enough approaching space before the entrance, who will assist when crossing the threshold, whether there is turning space after entering, how to fix the auxiliary equipment, and whether the evacuation route is available. Walk-in itself cannot prove wheelchair or stretcher compatibility. Wheelchair adaptation also involves the clear width of the entrance, ramp, cabin fixation, material compatibility and rated load. The stretcher adaptation depends on the transfer height, guide rail or tray, fixing method and closing space.

Don't confuse device dimensions with installation dimensions

Take HE5000 Mono as an example. The overall dimensions given in the catalog are 1730mm long, 960mm wide, 1880mm high and 480kg in weight. This set of numbers can be used for preliminary judgment, but it cannot be directly converted into the minimum headroom of the room. During transportation, check the building entrance, elevator, corridor, turning position and final door section by section. The installation position needs to consider ground bearing, control system, gas circuit, electrical, heat dissipation, ventilation, fire protection and maintenance spacing.

Multi-person hardware cabins usually place higher demands on site carrying, installation space and staffing. Even if the cabin can pass through the door, it may get stuck at the corner, elevator load or opening radius. It is better for the supplier to mark the equipment outline, door leaf trajectory, operation area and maintenance area on the plan, rather than just give a length, width and height data.

Who is in the cabin and who is out of the cabin during operation

The walk-in design improves the method of entry but does not eliminate monitoring, communication, or emergency requirements. During the operation of the single cabin, the operator and the user shall maintain visual or auditory contact; for the multi-person cabin, the operator shall be arranged according to the number of people in the cabin, the status of the personnel, the oxygen supply interface, the cabin staff and the external support.

The transparent observation area facilitates monitoring but does not replace communication or emergency procedures. It should also be asked who will handle the communication interruption, power failure, alarm, equipment failure or failure of normal decompression, and how to operate the emergency pressure relief device. Seats, wheelchairs, mattresses or other auxiliary equipment in the cabin should also be confirmed to be compatible with high-pressure and oxygen-rich environments, and daily necessities cannot be directly moved in.

Turn the quotation into a verifiable document

A comparable quote should not consist solely of "walk-in" fees, pressure, and price. At least corresponding to the complete model, and write down the normal working pressure, maximum allowable working pressure, pressurized medium, oxygen supply mode, rated load, internal layout, net size of inlet, overall size, equipment weight, installation conditions and service scope. Higher pressure, wider doors, or more seats alone do not prove that the equipment is better suited to the current venue and personnel.

Finally, put the equipment size drawing into the site plan, from the unloading point to the installation position, and then use the actual user and necessary auxiliary equipment to check the entrance, threshold, turn around, seat and evacuation actions. If there is no size or responsible person in any paragraph, don't understand "can walk in" as "can be used safely".
