La \u201ctrampa de cabina blanda 1,3 ATA\u201d acaba cada a\u00f1o con miles de incautos que no se informan bien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esas cabinas de pl\u00e1stico blando denominadas \u201cterapia de ox\u00edgeno hiperb\u00e1rico leve (mHBOT)\u201d tienen limitaciones derivadas del material, y el l\u00edmite legal de presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica est\u00e1 fijado en 1,3 ATA. Los vendedores lo presentar\u00e1n como un \u201cmilagro\u201d capaz de curar todas las enfermedades. Pero la cruda realidad es que 1,3 ATA solo produce un aumento muy limitado del contenido de ox\u00edgeno en plasma: es realmente eficaz para aliviar la fatiga o el mal de altura, pero si se trata de un tratamiento cl\u00ednico serio, esa presi\u00f3n apenas ara\u00f1a la superficie. Para promover realmente la angiog\u00e9nesis (es decir, la formaci\u00f3n de nuevos capilares), hay que recurrir a una cabina r\u00edgida con una presi\u00f3n de aire de al menos 2,0 ATA.
